Warwickshire Rural Crime Team Visit 40 Stable Yards as part of Equine Week of Action
This week as a part of the national equine week of action Warwickshire Rural Crime Team has been out visiting over 40 livery yards and riding schools across the county, including Redwings Horse Sanctuary who are responsible for over 2,000 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Whilst there, we discussed any ongoing concerns and offered crime prevention advice.
Officers also set up a stand at one of our local riding schools at Moor Farm Stables where we offered signage as well as tack marking. It was good to see so many people coming by to ask questions about what they can do to better protect their items.
As you can see from the picture, PC Allman took the opportunity to introduce herself to Penny the Pony who was quite happy to stand for a photo but did charge for her time.
If you have a livery yard or stables and believe you could benefit from a crime prevention visit, contact us at RuralCrimeTeam@warwickshire.police.uk.
