Warwickshire Police Cadets Raised Money for Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Equestrian and Disabled Riding Centre
Warwickshire Police Cadets have raised an incredible £3,720 for Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Equestrian and Disabled Riding Centre, which they’ve used to purchase a new horse called Lightning! He’s settling in well and is being slowly introduced to the herd.
In May, the cadets walked through the night one weekend from 12pm on Saturday to 12pm on Sunday, covering 1km laps of the grounds at Warwickshire Police HQ at Leek Wootton. An annual challenge taken on by generations of cadets, the charities supported by their fundraising are chosen by the cadets themselves – and this year they chose to raise money for the Centre.
Well done to everyone involved, and a thanks to the cadet leadership teams for arranging the event and working around the clock (literally) to ensure that the cadets achieved their goal safely.
