Two Horses Die in Suspicious Stable Fire in Iverley, South Staffordshire
On Friday 26th September at 12.15am Staffordshire Polie were called to a fire at a business off Sugarloaf Lane, Iverley, following reports of a stable on fire. The fire was put out by Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service, but sadly two horses sadly died at the scene.
On Monday 29th September, again in the early hours, a further call was received of a stable fire at the same location where two stables were destroyed, there were no casualties.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: “We are appealing for information following two deliberate fires in south Staffordshire.
The causes of both fires were deemed deliberate, and our investigation is ongoing.
We are appealing for anyone with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time to get in touch.
