Equestrian Transport Safety Event – Free Checks & Expert Advice!

Whether you’re a horse owner, transporter, or simply interested in staying safe on the roads, everyone is welcome at our Equestrian Transport Safety Event!

If you’d like to bring your trailer or horsebox for a FREE weight check please register & email us at

horsewatch@notts.police.uk

with your preferred arrival time between 10am and 3pm and we will do our best to accommodate you as near to that time as we can

Similarly if you would like to bring your Saddle along to have it security marked by Datatag please email us to ensure we have enough kits for everyone on the day!

Each check takes around 15–20 minutes, and both trailers and horseboxes are welcome.

The DVSA will kindly be providing our weight checks for trailers & horseboxes

Examiners will weigh the vehicle and offer expert advice on

• Tachographs

• Operator licensing

• Driver licensing

Construction & use roadworthiness checks including:

• Tyres

• Lights

• Brakes

• Bodywork

Saddle Security ID marking supplied and fitted on the day by Datatag ID Limited

• Receive 10% discount on the online purchase price of £34.99 per saddle and deter criminals from taking your saddle for it’s lifetime

• Payment can be made by card directly to Datatag on the day – please email us to let us know how many saddles you will be bringing

Purchase a Trailer Marking kit from Datatag at 10% less than the online price to fit to your Horsebox or Trailer after our event, again offering lifetime protection, transferrable to any new owners.
