Dorset Police Rural Crime Team – Mounted Volunteer Scheme

Day 2 of Operation Gallop and we’re celebrating our 16 Rural Mounted Volunteers

Andrew Turtle the Citizens in Policing Manager said “The Rural Mounted Volunteers provide a key link between the rural communities and Dorset Police, providing valuable engagements, intelligence and reporting various rural issues to the relevant authorities. This has added a new dimension to volunteering in Dorset Police. I would like to thank them for all their efforts and providing over 600 hours supporting their communities.

If you would like further information on the role of a RMV please contact Vol@dorset.pnn.police for further information, we are keen to recruit in the West and North of the county.
